Blend Studio will be hosting new work by William BJ Kirkpatrick during the month of July. The artist will be available on the opening night of the First Saturday Art Crawl. William will have a collection of paper cutout portraits of historical figures.
William Kirkpatrick is a native Nashvillian whose passion for art began in high school while attending Nashville School of the Arts. He found a love for portraits under the direction of two teachers Mrs. Laurie Poole and Mrs. Jennifer DiSorbo.
In college he brought with him the love for portraits and expanded his style by introducing paper cutouts to his practice. After completing his undergraduate degree at Fisk University. He immersed himself with paper cutting portraits and landscape paintings.
