Opening Reception:

First Saturday Gallery Crawl: October 7, 2017; 6-9pm

Blend Studio will be hosting work by William Kooinga, Breanna Kincaid, Abraham Pardee, and Amy Potter during the month of October. The artists will be available on the opening night of the First Saturday Art Crawl.

Breanna Kincaid (Textiles & felted wool)

“With my right foot playing in childlike fantasies and my left foot dancing in the adult world, I create whimsical, sculptural wearable’s.”

William Kooienga (sculpture, fine woodworking)

A self-taught artist, William has been supporting himself and his family creatively for 40 years. His sculpture and fine woodworking may be found in collections internationally.

Amy Potter (architectural ceramics)

Amy Potter, artist and philosopher, makes architectural ceramics in Liberty, Tennessee.  Her art tiles, wheel thrown sinks, custom tableware and ceremonial vessels are colorfully rendered to inspire form and function in living and working spaces.

Abraham Pardee (hand-forged metal)

Since 2006, Abe has been handcrafting unique works of art in metal, including sculpture, furnishings, tools, and various other custom-made objects.  His emphasis is on strong design and an attention to detail inspired by the finest practitioners of the craft, both historical and contemporary.
